Terms of Service

By accessing or using famagenda (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users of the Service.

famagenda is a family scheduling coordination service that connects to your existing calendar accounts (such as Google Calendar or Apple Calendar) to surface daily agendas, detect scheduling conflicts, and deliver notifications to family members. famagenda does not replace your calendar — it reads from and writes to your existing calendar providers.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

You must sign in using a valid Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

By connecting your calendar accounts to famagenda, you grant famagenda permission to read your calendar events and, where you explicitly request it, create events on your behalf. You may revoke this access at any time through your Google Account settings or through the famagenda settings page.

famagenda does not store your calendar event content. Events are fetched on demand and are not retained in our systems beyond the immediate request.

When you create or join a family group, you understand that:

• Other members of your family group can view your calendar events as part of the shared daily agenda.
• The family group admin can invite and remove members.
• You can leave a family group at any time through the settings page.
• You are responsible for only adding people to your family group with their knowledge and consent.

By providing your mobile number and enabling SMS notifications, you consent to receive text messages from famagenda, including daily family agenda digests, scheduling conflict alerts, and event confirmation messages. Message frequency varies (up to 3 messages per day). Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to any famagenda message to cancel all SMS notifications. Reply HELP for support information. You may also remove your phone number or disable SMS at any time in the app settings at famagenda.app/settings.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your phone number and SMS opt-in data.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Harass, abuse, or harm another person.
• Add individuals to a family group without their knowledge or consent.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Use automated means to access the Service in a manner that exceeds normal usage.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by famagenda and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of the Service without our written permission.

The Service integrates with third-party services including Google, Apple, Twilio, and others. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. famagenda is not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT NOTIFICATIONS WILL BE DELIVERED AT ANY PARTICULAR TIME.

famagenda is a scheduling aid only. You remain solely responsible for managing your own schedule and commitments. Do not rely exclusively on famagenda for time-sensitive scheduling decisions.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FAMAGENDA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED $100.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
